Meeting a partner online is becoming more and more popular. The statistics show that those women wearing red clothes have more chances of getting more messages and invitations for a date rather than those photographed in different colours. The latest experiment studied the details which influence the way people think, feel and behave themselves. The results have shown that red colour has more positive responses almost every other time. Actually explorers from the University of Rochester have discovered that men are likely to find a woman more attractive and are even ready to spend more money on her if she is wearing red.
One more research studied 64 women having their photos on different dating sites and wearing various kinds of tops. The results have shown that those women wearing red tops have got 21% of messages during the year compared to those women wearing black, white, blue, yellow and green colours who got only 14-16 %. Thus the researchers warn that women dreaming of the other sex’ attention should give preference to red tops and dresses. Red colour has long been associated with love, sex and romance. And the reason is hidden in biology.
Animals display red colour when they are sexually sensitive. It happens to women when blushing or ovulating. But the colour of the shirt is not the only thing meaningful on dating sites. 32% of first messages get a positive response, but long correspondence can on the contrary have fatal consequences. A simple “hello” can be much better. More personal conversation has a much more positive effect.
