Sociologists have found out that every 10th acquaintance and further love affair starts during summer vacation. About 1700 people above 18 years old were polled. The respondents were asked where and when they met their best halves. Every 10th respondent turned out to have found his/ her darling during their vacation.
Such holiday affairs seldom end up with marriage. According to statistics, most couples on vacation break up during the first months. The longest love affair which started during summer holiday lasts for a year only – just until the next vacation. Sociologists have found out that some “vacation” affairs develop into a strong marriage. Most often those men and women, who met each other with the help of their friends (blind dates), are the happiest. There were 27 % of such people among the respondents.
Sometimes strong relationships connect those people that see each other often at the same company but don’t have common friends. According to statistics, there are 21 % of them among the respondents. 19 % of people enter into a marriage with co-workers. But according to a different poll such marriages aren’t strong and people break up very soon. 11 % think that happy marriages are possible between business partners. 15 people from 100 said they have found their best half on the Internet.
